SKID,kid!
(Fer those who know their racin' ,they'll soon get the DRIFT!)
If ya get stuck,press the "?" button to REVERSE back on track.
The L1 button lets ya do yer special "DASH" ability.
But you can only do that when yer gauge is at its maximum level.

This lets ya use "haste",which'll make ya go faster

a little while.
It's just like Chocobo's "DASH".What's more,you can
steal
your opponent's
Magic Stones when ya bump into them from behind.

shoot "Fire".
Aim one in front of you to make go crash.

Auto-aim.One in front of you must go crash!
Three stones cast "Firaga".
Make everyone in front of you go crash.
Mog:Wh-why the heck are you telling us all this?
Golem:Me know how to use.You don't.Me don't win like that.Unfair!
Mog:Think we need your help to win, do ya!?

They soon moseyed on to an old,abandoned mine.
It sure was one Ionesome-lookin' place!

Mog:These are the Mythril Mountains.People used to
mine a kind of metal
called "Mythril" here.
But since the Mythril supply ran out,they gave up digging...
Golem:Be careful!Me hear bandits here.
Mog:Bandits!?You're gotta be kiddin'!
We're gotta go through the mines to get to the other side
of the mountains,ya know.
a vioce:Don't nobody move!
(Mog is kidnaped by a goblin with a knife)
Goblin:'Allo,'allo,'allo!?Wot do we 'ave 'ere?
Yer betta 'and over yer pennie 'n pence if yer wanna stay

but there be Magic Stones of "ICE" round these parts!
One Stones lets you cast "Blizzard"...
It places a sheet of ice on the couse that makes
whoever run over it spin outta control.
Using two stones casts "Blizzra",
which makes for others to spin out on.
Three stones cast "Blizzaga" that freezes
all yer foes in ice and makes 'em crash.
Not that any of this matters,
'coz even if yer woz to pick up an "ICE" Stone...
...I'll use my ability,"MUG",to nick it from yers!

Chocobo and friends came to a spooooky-lookin' forest.
Goblin:Betta be careful.This 'ere place be called the "Cursed
Forest".
I've 'eard that that a lotta people 'ave disappeared 'ere
with a trace.
Golem:Me see light there.
Goblin:Blimey!It can't be the...?
Mog:Huh?It can't be what!?
Goblin:Wot?You sacred or somefink?
Mog:Huh,whatever!Scared of something like this?..Me?
Goblin:I 'ear there be a "Black Manor" in this 'ere
"Cursed Forest".
They sez that no one who enters there ever comes
back out alive.
Mog(sweat~):Errh...Why don't we turn back?
Golem:Too late.We in front of manor.
Mog:Geez!It looks as scary as somethin' outta a horror movie!

I 'ear that this 'ere manor has the Magic Stones
of "THUNFERBOLTS".
Using one stone will cast "Thunder".
It make the bloke in front of you get 'it by
a lighting bolts and carsh.
Two stones casts "Thoundara".
It will strike the chap in front of you with
three lighting bolts and causes 'im crash.
Using three stones will cast "Thundaga".
This causes everybody else to be zapped by lightning and crash.
You can avoid the first and second type of lightning,but...
oh well,yer gotta experience it to learn it,right?
Golem:Okay,me go!
Mog:Um...you guys go ahead.Errh...I'll wait for you right here.
Goblin:Okay?'Ave it your way,chum...
Golem:Ooookay...Mog be careful.
(the two guys get into the room)

In a horror flick,the one left by himself is
always the first one killed!

all the travellin' they'd done so far.
Their new buddy,the BM,silently led them to
a village of mages and magicians.

Golem:Here "Mysidia".Magicians' village.
Mog:I don't know about you guys,but all this travelling
is getting to me!
Say,why don't we get someone to cast "Cure" on us
to freshen us up a bit?
Chocobo:Kweh!(he see something)
(a white mage is doing something )
Goblin:Looky there.She be a White Mage!
Just what yer wanted,eh Mog?
Mog:Awesome!...Exeuse me!Wanna cast a "Cure" on us?
White Mage(WM):Oh,who are you people?Where did you come from?
Could it be that you are lost...?

Goblin:So wot,we all 'ave a piece of some legend 'ere!?

(she has a big crystal on her necklace)
Mog:Man,it's huge!
Goblin:Blimey,I bet that 'as got a blindin' ability!
WM:There is a legend about these Magicite shards...

WM:You do seem greedy all of a sudden...
I wonder if it's safe to tell the story to a person like you?

Goblin:The Floating Gardens?
WM:Yep,it's an island in the sky on winch the ancestors of Mysidia
built hanging gardens.
It's even got a road that we can race on.Magic Stones of
"Mini",which makes your competitors shrink in size and
slow down.
Collecting and using two or three stones at once makes
everyone become even smaller and slower.When you use three stones,
you can even run over affected competitors and flatten them!
Mog:Picking on little guys is your style,huh?
Hah!But I'm more worried about the 'alt-i-tude' than your
"att-i-tude"!
WM:Don't tell me you're scared of heights?
Why should you be...you have wings!
Mog:Moi?Scares of heights?Well,I'll show you!
But when we win,you're gonna tell us the legend,Okay?

WM:There are Magicite shards scattered all over the world.
It used to be one large magicite Crystal...
But people kept fighting each other over it.
So the founder of Mysidia,the great magician Ming-Wu,
broke the crystal into eight pieces.
He then scattered the the shards to the four winds.
He did so to assure the later restoration of the
Magicite Crystal...
...when all eight pieces are brought together again.
Goblin:So...that means...
Mog:Once those pieces are put back together again,the restored
Magicite Crystal will become MINE!
WM:It was because of people like you that the Magicite was
originaly broken into pieces,you know!
Mog:Ah...!
WM:(sigh)...I guess it can't be helped.
I'll just have to join you guys.
Chocobo:Kweh!
Mog:What!?
WM:I have to take responsibility now that I told you the legend.

there's less food to go round!
Of course we'll get hungry.

WM:Then...who was it?

When someone tries to attack you with a Magic stone,
the spell backtires on 'em.
You can reflect a magic attack by just carrying a stone with you...
...but each time you reflect magic,it will use up one stone.
I can hardly stomach this hunger anymore!
I...I just got to eat!
Let's hurry up and get the race thing over!
Mog:Man,I should have thought this out more before I made a deal.
